Writing In A Minor Key
Jeffrey has a background in Anthropology, Biology and Western Philosophy, and embraces an ongoing Buddhist practice. In his threescore and sixteen revolutions around the sun he has been a teacher, mentor, educational consultant, fine arts painter, writer and full time inquirer.
In "Rocking With The Trees" loving partners navigate convoluted relationships in a landscape of Ladies Slippers and razor clams. Jeffrey's published short story "The Curio Of Monsieur Cabinét" tracks the heartrending route of a young Russian soldier's 1895 photograph.
Jeffrey has written a memoir about life and love and death in New York City and the Greek islands during the first decade of the AIDS crisis. (The manuscript is seeking a home in some publisher's heart). He has authored essays revisiting the Aids epidemic in light of Covid.

In his well received interview on the podcast Byte Sized Blessings Jeffrey discusses his story-telling origins and his relationship to the early days of AIDS.
